RCS- Clinical Manager- Denial Management

This is a hybrid role reporting to our Shadeland Ave office 2-3 times per month. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in utilization management or clinical denials, as well as payer knowledge.

This position is responsible for leading Revenue Cycle clinical operations in order to support IU Health's clinical practice disciplines and ensuring optimal reimbursement for services provided. Provides departmental administrative decision making, leadership, and strategic planning, including the efficient and productive use of personnel and other financial resources. Ensures high quality standardized work processes that result in consistent outcomes that compare favorable with relevant national benchmarks. The incumbent must possess strong subject matter expertise and leadership in order to support a diverse and complex operative environment.

Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.Experience in leadership is required. Management is preferred, but team lead, supervisor or coordinator roles are also accepted.Experience in Utilization, Case, or Denial Management is strongly preferred.
