Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP), you will be a vital clinical professional, dedicated to providing high-quality respiratory care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric critical care patients.
Every day, under medical and departmental direction, you'll deliver essential respiratory care per physician orders and policies. You'll ensure critical care services are met, meticulously manage equipment, and adapt care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
To be successful, you'll combine strong clinical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication, and a compassionate approach, directly contributing to healing and recovery in critical care.

Required:
Technical School Completed all accredited education requirements to be in possession of a valid license in good standing issued bythe National Board for Respiratory Care or its successor organization enabling them to practice as a Respiratory Care Professional.Competency and skill validation required prior to being promoted to this level.Respiratory Care Practitioner: NVBlood Gas: NVBasic Life Support - CPRAdvanced Cardiac Life Support InstructorPlease be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
