Labcorp is seeking a REMOTE RCM Specialty Testing Revenue Analyst to join our team!
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:30am-5:00pm EST
Responsibilities:
Provide analytical and operational support for Specialty Testing accounts receivable and reimbursement to improve denial operations workflows and processesResearch denials/claim issues for root cause and provide suggestions for resolutionManage internal override inventory for prompt resolutionServe as an internal conduit to gather, share, and report information related to specialty billing workflows, system behavior, and claims outcomesResearch issues to determine impacted scope of claims andCoordinate with operations/reporting team to identify and quantify impactsCoordinate with operations/reporting team to develop and communicate workflow projectsLearn and navigate multiple laboratory systems and billing platforms; apply system workflows to billing processes to ensure expected outcomesConduct research, data mining, evaluation, and validation of complex specialty testing datasets to identify trends and support data‑driven decision‑makingManage information requests from cross‑functional stakeholders, keeping them informed of reimbursement issues and changesExercise sound judgment in making decisions that have long‑term organizational impactBuild and maintain datasets and databases for routine and ad hoc reportingRecommend new or improved workflows for complex billing processes to maximize cash collectionsContribute to the development, documentation, and implementation of workflow processes (e.g., appeals, prior authorizations, specialty support activities)Proactively identify and resolve broad issues affecting specialty testing billing performanceCollaborate across Revenue Cycle Management functions to drive improvements, enhance effectiveness, and promote best practicesApply diverse technical skills to understand laboratory systems, data structures, and workflows across Labcorp and specialty testing environmentsTranslate LCLS/LCBS data for use in specialty testing analysis and projects (a plus)Support management and peers by taking on additional projects as neededMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 6 years’ healthcare billing experience or Associate degree with 8 years healthcare billing experience or HS diploma or GED with 10 years healthcare billing experiencePreferred Qualifications:
3 or more years experience with MS Excel3 or more years experience working with denials, appeals, underpayments, and payment variance analysis3 or more years Accounts Receivables healthcare billing3 or more years experience with CPT, ICD‑10, and HCPCS coding3 or more years experience in Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reimbursement methodologies3 or more years experience in prior authorization, medical necessity, and payer denial1 or more years Xifin RPM and BI experienceAdditional Job Standards:

The RCM Specialty Testing Revenue Analyst II is responsible for providing analytical and project support for Specialty Testing accounts receivable and reimbursement activities. This role serves as a critical internal liaison, gathering, interpreting, and communicating information related to specialty-testing billing processes, system behavior, revenue cycle functions, and claims outcomes.
This position requires strong analytical capabilities, the ability to work across multiple systems, and a deep understanding of how laboratory and billing workflows intersect. The analyst will help develop, refine, and implement processes that optimize revenue cycle performance and support enterprise-wide specialty testing initiatives.

Pay Range: $55,000–$90,000K
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data
