RCM Cust Svc Support Rep-10am-7pm EST - Remote - Patient Customer Service

Labcorp is seeking a Customer Service Support Rep - Patient Customer Service within the Revenue Cycle Management Division to join our team.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 10:00am - 7:00pm EST

Training hours: 9am to 6pm EST

Responsibilities

Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's office or private insurance carriers.Initiate payment plans for patients for outstanding balances.Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phoneMaintain performance goalsAbility to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent  1 year or more customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications

1 year or more call center experience1 year or more medical billing, insurance claims, and explanation of benefits1 year or more patient billing

Pay Range: $17.75- $21.00 an hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
