Registered / Certified Behavior Technician (School-Based) Openings: 3 Hours per Week: 32.5 Contract Length: 3 Months Start Date: February 23, 2026 Position Overview The Registered/Certified Behavior Technician supports the delivery of educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs. Working under the supervision of school professionals and behavioral specialists, this role helps implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to support learning, skill development, and behavioral goals. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting students with diverse needs and collaborating within a multidisciplinary school team. Responsibilities + Assist in implementing ABA-based interventions and behavior support plans + Work directly with students to support learning, communication, and behavioral goals + Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and behavioral specialists + Collect data and document student progress as directed + Maintain professionalism and adhere to all ethical and practice standards + Support students across school environments as assigned Minimum Requirements + Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/or State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license (as applicable) + High school diploma or equivalent (required) + One to two years of relevant experience (preferred) + Associate degree in behavioral studies or related field (preferred) + Compliance with all professional standards of practice + Current CPR certification (if applicable) + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable) + Current health certificate per state or contract requirements + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements + Must be at least 18 years old Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
