Raw Material & Local Sector Lead

Position Summary

This position oversees/manage daily Local & RM operation for PSI, accurate planning and forecasting, PO managing, Steel Quota, KPI, and 3 SCM analysts.

Role and Responsibilities

1) Manage and update internal systems based on tarriffs at various countries/commodities
2) Manage costs associated with rework and submit to suppliers for payment
3) Gather parts required for production and compiles/consolidates into a weekly report to the Production Planning team to determine production cadence/schedule
4) Oversee contents within shipping containers and prioritize transport based on production requirements
5) Manages contracts and relationship with critical suppliers. → Supplier with lack of CAPA, Longterm  Delivery items, Unique items by Model Color
6) Reviews SOP[Sales Operating plans] provided by the Production Planning team and confirm the quantity of products produced based on available parts
7) PO managing, Confirmation of RTP ETD, BOM change monitoring, Subcontract Part management
8) Manage KPI and anylize data for Aging, Abnormal cost, Material Loss, Auto PO rate, RMA
9) Manage EGI/GI Steel Quota review for consumption and allocaiton plan including CBP Quota exclusion
10) Manage/train RM & Local Sector purchasing analyst staffs.
11) Support Audit data and HQ Reports

-- Train, mentor, guide, and coach associates as needed.
-- Monitor time keeping and approve time cards, which includes monitoring and calculating Bereavement Leave, FMLA, Jury Duty, Military Leave, PTO, STD, Parental Leave, etc.
-- Manage individual employee performance by conducting performance evaluations and delivering performance improvement notifications.
13) All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Education:  Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or other closely related major is required OR a minimum of 12 years of specialized training and job experience specifically with supply chain and/or purchasing.
Experience:  3+ years (senior); 3 plus years (senior level) of prior purchasing experience preferred to analyze materials forecasting based on SOP plan and concept of pull-in / push back ETD based on updated production schedule
Knowledge:  Requires conceptual knowledge of BOM structure for products to manage subcomponent parts and plan weekly requirements 
Skills: All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.  Advanced in Excel to plan demand of parts and update PSI and import HQ reports
