Job DescriptionThe Business Area Original Equipment Solutions develops and manufactures products for the Automobile industry. Our product portfolio varies from engine mounting to fluid transporting and also sealing systems. The Material Platform Development is looking for a raw material expert, who will be technically responsible for certain groups of compounding raw materials of OESL.
The main tasks within this area of responsibility include:
Responsibility and technical expert for raw materials in rubber compounds within our organization as an automotive supplierTechnical contact for purchasing, supplier development, quality management and supply chain management as well as suppliers for chemical raw materials topicsNegotiating and establishing specifications for chemical raw materials with external and internal suppliersMonitoring of OESL material releases and proactive controlling of these raw material groupsManagement of projects or task forces in the area of chemical raw materials (assistance with troubleshooting and complaints)Define key properties for raw materials and analytical measuresDevelopment, finding and evaluation of new / alternative raw materials or new suppliers for existing raw materials together with Purchasing, Supplier Quality Management and other R&D functionsDefinition and execution of raw materials and supplier strategy together with Purchasing, R&D management and QualityInterface for hazardous substance management and development of sustainable raw materialsQualificationsMaster degree in Rubber/Polymer technology, Chemistry, Material engineering or similarSeveral years of experience in development of rubber, plastics or similarExpertise in chemical analysis of materialsExperience in automotive industry appreciatedProject Management knowhow (advanced)High social and intercultural competenceHigh level of English and German language skills (written and spoken)Applications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
