Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Raw Material Coordinator to manage the procurement, inventory, and logistics of raw materials essential to our R&D processes. This role ensures that materials are available in the right quantity, at the right time to support uninterrupted operations.
Essential Functions
· Comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
· Coordinate the ordering, receiving, and inventory control of raw materials for our Corporate Technology research team.
· Maintain accurate records of material usage and stock levels.
· Collaborate with other business units as needed for material needs.
· Develop an awareness of supplier lead times and delivery schedules to prevent delays.
· Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory or material quality.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material handling and supply chain efficiency.
· Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
· High School diploma or equivalent required.
· Experience in materials coordination, inventory management, or procurement is a plus but not necessary.
· Knowledge in or the ability to learn SAP and Microsoft Excel.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Strong communication abilities across various levels of the business.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to handle weights up to 50lbs.
· Self-motivated with job ownership and the desire to drive efficiencies.
· Ability to drive or learn to drive a forklift.
