Raw Material Buyer

Team overview and job responsibilities 

We are looking for a Raw Material Buyer to join our Material team. Based in Nogales-México, the candidate will have the responsibility and authority to carry out all activities related to quality and the EMS must comply with IATF 16949:2016 and ISO-45001/ISO-14000 standards. 

 

Job responsibilities  

Review M.R.P. reports 

Provide and confirm orders to suppliers weekly, either via EDI or manually through email 

Manage the shortage material report, analyzing causes, and taking corrective actions (A3) 

Expedite materials as needed, identifying critical situations and escalating requirements when necessary 

Support in managing slow-moving parts, excesses, and obsolete materials 

Assist and/or schedule meetings with suppliers for critical material follow-up and escalations 

Support in monthly and annual inventories 

Responsible for following the elements of IATF 16949:2016, ISO-14000, and ISO 45001 applicable to the process 

Maintain optimal inventory levels
