Newsweek Recognizes Sedgwick as America’s Greatest Workplaces National Top Companies Certified as a Great Place to Work® Fortune Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance Rate Team Coordinator **PRIMARY PURPOSE** **:** To provide rate and underwriting analysis services and support to external and internal customers. **ARE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE?** We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who thrive in a collaborative environment, who are driven to deliver great work. + Performs accurate and timely rate analyses pertaining to self insurance, retrospective rating, wage continuation, and cost of claims. + Responds to external and internal client questions (written or phone) concerning issues related to rating, underwriting and coverage. + Assists in the group rating process including analysis for eligibility; reviews and processes employers rejected by the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation (BWC). + Reviews accuracy of claim costs charged to employers' annual experience exhibits; files protest if errors are found. + Completes tasks generated systematically or internally in a timely manner. **ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES** + Performs other duties as assigned. + Supports the organization's quality program(s). **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education & Licensing** High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in mathematics or related field preferred. **Experience** One (1) year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
