Rate Team CoordinatorPRIMARY PURPOSE: To provide rate and underwriting analysis services and support to external and internal customers.

Performs accurate and timely rate analyses pertaining to self insurance, retrospective rating, wage continuation, and cost of claims.Responds to external and internal client questions (written or phone) concerning issues related to rating, underwriting and coverage.Assists in the group rating process including analysis for eligibility; reviews and processes employers rejected by the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation (BWC).Reviews accuracy of claim costs charged to employers' annual experience exhibits; files protest if errors are found.Completes tasks generated systematically or internally in a timely manner.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.Supports the organization's quality program(s).QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in mathematics or related field preferred.
Experience
One (1) year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience with Ohio Worker's Compensation rating or general insurance principles preferred.
