Job Summary: Develop, construct, analyze, coordinate and support various rate and tariff filings submitted by the UGI Companies (UGI Gas Division and UGI Electric Division). Major duties include the preparation of gas and electric filings for the recovery of energy costs as well as establishment of distribution and transmission rates; interrogatory response and process management and monitoring and participation in various jurisdictional rulemaking and PUC/PSC/FERC events. Survey and interpret rate and regulatory actions in Pennsylvania, Maryland and other states. **This position is hybrid, not remote. Duties and Responsibilities: + Support and coordinate filings made by the UGI Companies as assigned, including implementation. Develop and coordinate all rate issues related to Annual or Quarterly energy cost recovery filings, including preparing supporting data, tariff pages, and responding to interrogatories. Provide testimony as an expert witness as required. Generate and maintain comparisons of UGI Company rates to those of other PA companies + Support and coordinate other Tariff filings. Coordinate the development of rates and tariff pages for all rate filings assigned, including the State Tax Surcharge, Universal Service Program annual and reconciliation filings, Energy Efficiency and Conservation program annual and reconciliation filings, Distribution System Improvement Charge filings, company franchised territory filings, annual transmission revenue filings, quarterly rate of return adjustments, base rate filings and other ad hoc filings as required. + Assignment and completion of regular/periodic reports and special projects. These regular/periodic and special projects will require working with other departments within the company, and comparable departments of other companies to complete the assignment and meet the stated goals. + Analyze and report to management, as required, on rate and regulatory activities by companies in Pennsylvania and other states to inform management of potential industry trends (Alternative rate making options, etc.). The primary source materials will include state commission websites, trade publications and contacts with other companies. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: + Knowledge of ratemaking, PUC/PSC and FERC rules and regulations. + The ability to prepare detailed workpapers. + Knowledge of fundamentals of supply cost development and business/economic principals. + Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to support preparation of expert witness testimony as part of various rate proceedings. + An ability to collect, understand and analyze cost and revenue related data from various departments and communicate to management the impact this data will have on revenue flow of the UGI Companies. Education and Experience: + Bachelor’s in in math, engineering, accounting and/or business-economics preferred + 2 years of experience (4 years for Sr Analyst consideration) in financial analysis, regulatory analysis, or related area; regulated utility experience preferred. + Position level will be commensurate with experience. #LI-Hybrid UGI Utilities, Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
