The Ralph Lauren Selling Specialist is responsible for becoming an expert on merchandise in assigned area, ensuring the customer experience is elevated, product is placed and merchandised to reflect vendor standards, and presentation is consistently maintained.

Providing Excellent Customer Service:
Proactive greeting and engaging customers warmly and with a smile.
Impact sales both by helping and pleasing customers and by employing high-level selling skills.
Demonstrating Initiative:
Meet or exceed solicitation goal for Belk Rewards Credit Card program.
Meet or exceed clientele goals, where applicable.
Understand store assortment (for assigned department), in addition to inventory available at other stores and on belk.com.
Focusing on Results:
Meet or exceed sales goals.
Increase units sold per transaction by recommending products to customers.
Identify and reduce shrinkage in area.
Work professionally and pleasantly with co-workers, customers, and managers to accomplish defined tasks.
Maintain floor and stock areas consistent with store standards.
Follow procedures for all systems including counts, markdowns, and inventory control.
Comply with policies and procedures in the associate handbook.
Accept additional duties or sharing responsibilities as requested by Sales Team Manager.
Assist Operations teams with all non-sell duties as assigned by Sales Team Manager.
