Join us. **Job Description** AECOM’s **Enterprise Capabilities** team is looking for a **Railway Designer** to join our team in Warsaw, Poland. **About Enterprise Capabilities** Fundamental to our _Think and Act Globally_ strategy and digital adoption, Enterprise Capabilities (EC) is AECOM’s primary vehicle for workshare. Operating across geographic boundaries and time-zones, EC partners with regional and Global Business Line project teams to provide technical expertise, accelerate delivery and keep AECOM competitive in the industry. Grow here.** We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as standalone linear infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Our clients are from the private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our office has an established track record of successfully delivering railway designs for many years, throughout the USA and Canada You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team for the EC Europe Team (Poland/Spain). **Here's what you'll do:** + Work as part of a linear infrastructures team with other designers at the same functional level that can be from different EC offices (Poland, Spain, India..). Undertakes non-routine, medium complex projects supported by EC. + Coordinate and lead small design teams focused on railway design for a specific project. + Perform different analysis and design of linear infrastructures projects covering at least the following fields: railway geometric design, P-Way, track design; etc. + Work autonomously within established procedures and practices, with latitude to determine work priorities. + Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings, including participation in interdisciplinary reviews. + Ensure that project technical goals/milestones/ budgets are met. + Prepare complex project deliverables using a team of junior technical and support staff, providing supervision to and mentoring less experienced staff. **Qualifications** **Here's what we're looking for:** + Proven track record of working on railway designs and collaborating with international and multi-cultural teams (+7 years). + Experience with international regulations and standards (i.e AASTHO; AREMA; Australian Codes; etc.). + Proficiency in geometrical design at least one software packages: OpenRail, Rail Track, Civil 3D + Proven commitment with Quality Control Policy and Quality Management System. + Experience working in the North America region / Australia will be considered favorably. + Fluent in English (spoken and written). **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering + US and/or Australia Professional Engineer license will be considered favorably. **Additional Information** **At AECOM, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity** _Our Freedom to Grow hybrid working philosophy is the cornerstone of our success as a business – supporting a culture of flexibility, trust and performance at AECOM._ \#LI-OM1 **ReqID:** J10129133 **Business Line:** Transportation **Business Group:** DCS **Strategic Business Unit:** Enterprise Capabilities **Career Area:** Engineering **Work Location Model:** Hybrid **Legal Entity:** AECOM Polska Sp. z o.o.
