Position Overview We are seeking skilled and patient-centered Radiology Technologists (X-Ray Technologists) to join a high-performing outpatient imaging team across multiple clinic locations in the South Puget Sound region. As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations to support accurate diagnosis and timely patient care. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and compassionate service. You will collaborate closely with providers, radiologists, and multidisciplinary clinic staff to ensure efficient workflows and a positive patient experience in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Key Responsibilities + Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. + Produce high-quality images ensuring appropriate exposure, positioning, and patient safety at all times. + Verify patient identity, obtain relevant history, and maintain a calm and reassuring bedside manner. + Safely operate imaging equipment and adhere to ALARA principles for radiation safety. + Collaborate with providers, radiologists, medical assistants, and clinic teams to support coordinated patient care. + Maintain equipment cleanliness, functionality, and readiness; report malfunctions promptly. + Adhere to all federal, state, and facility-specific imaging standards, documentation requirements, and compliance regulations. + Support clinic workflows, including patient scheduling, room turnover, and exam preparation when needed. Preferred Skills & Professional Competencies + Strong understanding of radiographic positioning, exposure techniques, and diagnostic image evaluation. + Proficiency with outpatient workflows and experience performing exams in a busy clinic setting. + Exceptional patient-care skills with the ability to work professionally with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. + Knowledge of radiation safety, equipment operation, and quality assurance processes. + Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-moving outpatient environment. + Effective communication skills and the ability to contribute positively to a collaborative team culture. + Familiarity with PACS, EMR documentation, and digital imaging systems.
