You Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
To completely and safely conduct general X-ray examinations Conduct accurate ultrasonography (Ultrasound) examinations with emphasis on Focused Abdominal Sonography in Trauma (FAST), Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and ECHO/Doppler.Maintain up-to-date records in line with professional standardsLiaise with other health care professions to provide optimum management of patientsCarry out pre-employment functional assessment of all prospective employees on a task-specific requirement.To be considered for this position, the applicant must have the following:
Grade 12 certificate
Diploma in radiography from a reputable training institution.
Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience. Experience working in a busy hospital setting is an added advantage.
Good written and oral communication skills in English
Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Office packages such as excel
Strong report writing and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to lead a team safely and improve team safety awareness
High level understanding of all relevant legislation affecting the employment and safety of persons in the mining industry in Zambia
Demonstrated ability and propensity for continuous improvement
