Job Summary Novant Health is seeking Radiologic Technologist to assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images.T his is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a specialty that significantly impacts patients' quality of life through advanced diagnostic imaging and compassionate care. At Novant Health’s Urology Clinic, we specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of urinary tract and male reproductive system conditions. Our services encompass the management of kidney stones, urinary incontinence, prostate health, urinary tract infections, and male infertility. Our multidisciplinary team employs state-of-the-art imaging technologies and minimally invasive procedures to provide personalized treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. As a Radiologic Technologist in our Urology department, you will play a pivotal role in performing diagnostic imaging examinations, assisting in urological procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. Your expertise will aid in the accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of various urological conditions. Qualifications + Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. + Graduate of an accredited Radiology program or a certified/ accredited/JCERT hospital based program and credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). + Experience: Two years experience in diagnostic radiology, required. + Licensure/Certification: ARRT, required. + Additional Skills Required: Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills, capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations and procedures.
