As a RAD Tech PRN at MercyOne, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with hospital and departmental standards and policies, strive to provide individualized patient care, abide by ALARA to protect patients from excessive radiation, possess the skills and knowledge to evaluate images for diagnostic quality.

Minimizes radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors. Complies with ALARA standards, “As Low As Reasonably Achievable”.Works flexible hours, including standby on-call hours, weekends, and Holidays.Reviews providers’ orders and assists providers and nurses with radiology-based questions.Transports patients without harm, utilizing proper body mechanics and ensuring the safety of patients and staff.Education:
