Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

Demonstrates adherence to the Standards of Conduct Requirements. Completes and turns in the SOC acknowledgement card Fulfills compliance education requirements as directed by the Compliance department or department management "The Integrity Program: Standards of Conduct-a guide to compliance and ethics"Demonstrates competency in department-specific Customer Service Standards.Complies with hospital/departmental policy and procedures, and adheres to the code of ethics and conduct of The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.Understands and adheres to procedure orders requirements to include: verifying orders in the medical chart, prescriptions, and verifying patient's identification.Meets annual competency requirement prior to evaluation date.Communicates effectively with physicians, ancillary areas, and internal staff. Demonstrates the capacity to evaluate, coordinate, and execute responsibilities under pressure situations. Has the initiative to resolve customer problems by self, and involves supervisors as necessary.
