As a Radiology Student at MercyOne Elkader, you will:
Perform a wide variety of routine duties including clerical, technical and patient related functionsBe responsible for assisting members of the patient care team and providing a broad range of health care services such as: exam review, preparation for the visit, patient education, assistance with exams and procedures, and patient transportingTrain to use a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, and softwareBe assigned to work in a variety of imaging sections, assist multiple radiology modalities and /or clinical services per operational needsBe able to resolve conflict and endure the pressures associated with a constantly changing work environmentAssist with exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups and performs patient assessment within the scope of practiceSchedule:

High school diploma or equivalentMust be enrolled as a 2nd year student in an accredited Radiologic Technology program with current participation in radiology classes and clinical rotations or be board eligibleMust be ARRT certified within 1 year of completion of radiologic technology programChild and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafterBasic Life Support (BLS) will be required within 3 months of hire and every 2 years thereafterMercyOne is proud to be equal opportunity employers.
