Radiology Scheduling Representative Location: Hammond, IN Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour About the Role We are seeking a Radiology Scheduling Representative to join a dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments for radiology services, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, and Neuro procedures. You will ensure accurate insurance verification, maintain compliance with Medicare medical necessity requirements, and provide compassionate support to patients regarding copayments, prepayments, and outstanding balances. Key Responsibilities + Schedule patient appointments for radiology exams and outpatient procedures. + Verify insurance eligibility and update patient account information accurately. + Collaborate with insurance verification teams to obtain authorizations for scheduled services. + Maintain detailed documentation of patient eligibility and account updates. + Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities in a professional and empathetic manner. Qualifications + 1–2 years of radiology scheduling experience (CT, MRI, US, FL, Neuro). + 1–2 years of EPIC experience required. + Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach. + Ability to work collaboratively in a call center setting.
