Radiology Instructor – Public Service Commission (PSC)

Work Schedule:

This position will work between the hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Most shifts will be 8:00 am to 4:30 pm but may vary based on program needs and student rotations.

We are seeking a Radiology Instructor to:

Assume responsibility with other School of Radiologic Technology (SRT) faculty for clinical education of student radiographers during clinical practicum coursesAssist with and conduct student evaluations and competency testing within the SRT during clinical education experiencesCirculate to all clinical education settings to instruct student radiographers, collaborate with clinical staff regarding student performance, and assist with administering the School of Radiologic Technology rules, regulations, and policies in compliance with current Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Standards.This temporary position is expected to be approximately a three month assignment.QualificationsGraduate of a radiography program and Baccalaureate Degree RequiredBachelor's Degree in Education PreferredWork Experience2 years full-time clinical experience as a radiographer with significant experience in the supervision, instruction and evaluation of student radiographers Required5 years full-time clinical experience as a radiographer with significant experience in the supervision, instruction and evaluation of student radiographers PreferredLicenses & CertificationsARRT certification in Radiography Upon Hire RequiredWI Radiographer license Upon Hire RequiredBasic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire RequiredARRT certification in a post-primary category such as Mammography, Computed Tomography, Angiography/Interventional, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging PreferredOur Commitment to Social Impact and BelongingUW Health is committed to fostering a workplace that creates belonging for everyone and is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
