Duties: The Radiologist Clinical Associate at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus (9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44195); Fairview Hospital (18101 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44111); Hillcrest Hospital (6780 Mayfield Road, Mayfield Heights, Ohio 44124); and Mercy Hospital (1320 Mercy Drive NW, Canton, Ohio 44708) provides radiological services in Cardiovascular Imaging, including CT (computed tomography) and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) modalities. He or she creates imaging protocols for cardiovascular CT and MRI examinations; works with nursing to provide care to patients before, during, and after scan acquisition; interprets diagnostic imaging and prepares reports of findings; communicates examination results or diagnostic information to referring physicians, patients, and families; and develops short term treatment plans for radiology patients. The Radiologist Clinical Associate also contributes to ongoing quality efforts in the section through formalized peer review and updating of radiology informatics systems; provides training to resident and fellow physicians; and works with technologists in the section to trouble shoot during image acquisition. Weekday and weekend on-call responsibilities and periodic night and weekend hours as needed. Possible rotations at Akron General Hospital as needed. Intermittent telecommuting permitted.
Requirements: At minimum, the position requires an MD or foreign equivalent as determined by a credentials evaluation or as evidenced by an ECFMG certificate; three (3) years of training in diagnostic radiology or radio diagnosis; and eligibility for medical licensure in Ohio. Position also requires completion of a Fellowship in Cardiovascular CT and Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Cardiothoracic Radiology, or Cardiac Imaging. Pre-employment screening required.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience ($280,000 per year)

The salary range displayed in this job posting reflects the anticipated salary range for new physicians hired into full-time (100% FTE) positions. This range is generally aligned with or below the 50th percentile of nationally recognized compensation benchmarks by specialty. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined in accordance with fair market value, considering factors such as professional experience, clinical expertise, board certification, work history, and FTE. This stated range excludes the value of Cleveland Clinic's comprehensive benefits package, which includes healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and other offerings.
