Position Overview
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join our Imaging Services team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock. This full-time position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in one of the most respected healthcare systems in Texas.
This role begins as a variable shift position. During the initial training period, the technologist will rotate through all shift types—including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and overnights—to gain a full understanding of departmental workflow and expectations.

What You’ll Do
Perform high-quality diagnostic radiology (X-ray) procedures in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols.
Maintain strong image quality while meeting productivity and workflow standards.
Monitor and manage radiation dose reference levels and initiate appropriate follow-up when needed.
Utilize AIDET communication principles to ensure positive patient experiences.
Prepare and position patients using appropriate immobilization techniques and exposure settings.
Follow strict radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards.
Maintain imaging equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness expectations.
Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Verify patient history, orders, pregnancy screening, shielding precautions, and consent documentation.
Accurately document imaging studies in PACS and EMR systems.
Assist with supply management and departmental workflow initiatives.

QualificationsEducation
Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
Experience
Less than 1 year of experience required
Hospital or acute care experience preferred
Certifications & Licensure
ARRT (R) – Radiography required
Texas Medical Board (MRT) License required
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
