General Summary

Performs routine diagnostic, technical and/or special radiographic procedures at a general skill level.

Duties and Responsibilities

Performs radiographic examinations. Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations. Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure. Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED Required

Work Experience:

Less than 1 year 6 - 12 months Required

Licenses:

Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and Registered Technologist-Cardiac Interventional Radiology - ARRT Upon Hire Required or Registered Technologist-Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology - ARRT Upon Hire Required or Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography - ARRT Upon Hire Required or Registered Technologist-Radiation Therapy - ARRT Upon Hire Required or Registered Technologist-Radiography - ARRT Upon Hire Required and Registered Technologist-Vascular Interventional Radiology - ARRT Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:
