Part Time (16 Hours/Biweekly) Shift: Days **General Summary** Performs routine and specialized diagnostic and technical radiographic procedures at an intermediate skill level. **Essential Functions:** + Performs radiographic examinations; obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns. + Able to perform more complex operating room procedures as well as fluoroscopic and overhead procedures and more complex portable exams if applicable to the location of outpatient center. + Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations. + Properly processes images using digital technology., Able to resolve exceptions in PACs and EHR systems and has the ability to cancel unnecessary orders upon request of providers(site specific) + Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure. + Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures. + Evaluates recorded images for technical quality. , consistently maintains a repeat rate under 5%. + Participates in and collaborates with other departments on projects to improve care and efficiency as needed. + Demonstrates leadership skills with capability of taking on a charge role if needed. + Participates in and collaborates with other departments on projects to improve care and efficiency as needed; participates in at least 1 project including but not limited to: equipment QA (monthly, quarterly testing), creating standards of work, engagement committee. + Becomes proficient in optional cross-trained skills(site specific) of EKGs and/or phlebotomy. **Common Expectations:** + Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of the assigned patient population.
