Kforce has a client in Washington, DC that is seeking a Radio Frequency Engineer. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer to support advanced development and testing of RF systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either RF hardware design and testing or RF propagation modeling, with a preference for radar system experience. This role requires hands-on expertise with RF test equipment and proficiency in MATLAB for modeling and analysis. Key Responsibilities: * Develop test plans for radar and countermeasure systems- to the key responsibility section * Design, develop, and test RF hardware components, with a focus on radar or communications systems * Conduct RF propagation modeling and analysis, emphasizing electromagnetic field behavior beyond basic link budget calculations * Utilize MATLAB for simulation and modeling of RF propagation scenarios * Operate and interpret results from RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers and network analyzers * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate RF systems into larger platforms * Document test procedures, results, and technical findings clearly and accurately
