The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking a Radio and Network Technologist to join our radio and telemetry team in Berkeley, MO. The radio and telemetry team provide vital air-to-ground links that enable a successful flight test. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining Boeing Flight Test’s radio network. Specific tasks will include:
Researching, implementing, and testing novel networks and architectureAdapting new networks to interface with internal customer equipmentConfiguring ground stations, networks, and antennas to support voice and data transmission capabilitiesMaintaining existing radio networks and associated playback capabilitiesBT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced level Radio and Network Technologists.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Assist in research and development (R&D) and deployment of advanced radio network technologiesAssist in evaluating emerging technology trends and productsEnable flight test activities through the use of radio and networking systemsSet the configuration of test networks for testingMaintain radio architectureBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience working with RF Communication systems1+ years of experience with fundamental radio design and operationPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceActive U.S. Secret security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Experience with hands-on support of radio and/or network hardware such as setting up, configuring, modifying and troubleshooting radios, dispatch stations, switches, routers, and network equipmentExperience supporting product testing either in the flight or lab test environmentExperience with aircraft communications systemsExperience with amateur radioExperience with flight line operations and ground operations procedures associated with flight testingDrug Free Workplace:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for associate level: $85,000 – $115,000
Summary pay range for experienced level: $105,400 - $142,600
