Radiation Therapy (RTT) Manager
Job Summary: Radiation Therapy Manager oversees the day-to-day technical operations of the Radiation Therapy department by supporting the organizational mission, priorities and goals, and ensures the delivery of cost effective, optimal quality care services. Directly manages the radiation therapists responsible for delivering radiation treatment. This includes ensuring that staff are trained and competent to use equipment and techniques to deliver exact amounts of radiation as per regulatory standards and departmental protocols. Collaborates with the senior leadership to develop and implement strategic business and marketing plans to best meet and grow volume. Assists with the development and implementation of annual capital budgets and implements best practices in management of resources. Collaborates with other members of the Radiation Oncology leadership team, Radiation Oncology faculty, residents and physics division staff, and Cancer Center leaders as required. Manages the delivery of radiation therapy services across multiple sites or a single large unit. *Depending on clinic scheduled, however, may have about 10% patient care. *Locations they would cover would be our San Jose and our Pleasanton locations. The largest clinic being San Jose. *There are joint ventures this person would also be supporting with these clinics in getting launched as well. *Manager is not looking for Radiation RN as it won’t work out in this role due to technical aspects. *Person would have a variety in workload with supporting network clinics and being part of the working community. *SHC is also the leading organization in this field as we were the first in many pioneering solutions and continue pushing “first” for oncology that this person would be part of. *Manager Will consider individuals who have been in Chief RTT, Supervisor RTT or Lead RTT roles. But, must have some leadership as RTT. Education Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university Experience Qualifications · Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience Licenses and Certifications · ARRT RTT · CA RTT Work Schedule: 8HR Days, Onsite 5 days a week No admin/remote days. Position requires being onsite.
