**Responsibilities** ***Sign on Bonus for full time $5,000*** **What you will do:** + Greets patient utilizing AIDET, verifies patient in identification, reviews chart for proper radiation treatment parameters and physician prescriptions + Informs patients and families about the treatment process and answers questions + Prepares patients for treatment. Positions equipment according to plan + Takes portal films or IGRT scans to ensure treatment protocols are accurately set up and followed + Verifies proper dosage of ionizing radiation for patient as prescribed by physician + Monitors patient throughout treatment process by checking video monitors and intercom + Informs physician anytime patient experiences distress or side effects related to treatment process + Records each patients’ treatment in EMR and proper notes for accurate treatment and set-up + Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the filed by reading appropriate journals, books, and other literature and attending related seminars, conferences and education opportunities. **Qualifications** **Education** + Satisfactory completion of a JRCERT accredited Radiation Therapy Program **Licenses & Certifications** + ARRT (T) boards completion within in 6 month of hire + BLS from the American Heart Association required upon hire **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities** + Knowledge of linear accelerators and record and verify systems + Ability to operate radiation therapy equipment + Ability to manage patients + Ability to follow oral and written instructions HelloImaging ImagingNebraska #MissionCritical \#LI-CHI **Overview** CHI Health St. Francis was established in Grand Island Neb. in 1887.
