Short Description
MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, a partnership between MD Anderson Cancer Center and Cooper University Health Care, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our growing, multidisciplinary cancer program in southern New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, evidence-based radiation therapy for a diverse adult oncology populationCollaborate closely with surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists in disease-specific multidisciplinary clinics and tumor boardsUtilize state-of-the-art technology including Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, Aria/Eclipse treatment planning, Gamma Knife Icon, HDR brachytherapy, and SBRT/SRS programsParticipate in clinical trials through our MD Anderson Cancer Network® partnership and NRG OncologyContribute to resident and medical student education (academic appointment available through Cooper Medical School of Rowan University)Engage in quality improvement, research, and scholarly activity commensurate with experience and interestEducation Requirements
MD or DO with successful completion of an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology residency
Experience Required
Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
License/ Certification Requirements
Board certified or board eligible (ABR)
Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey
