Job Description:

We are seeking an entry-level Radar Systems Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will support the design, development, and testing of aerospace systems and components. This position requires strong technical skills, proficiency in engineering software, and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and model aerospace components and systems using CAD software (CATIA, Inventor, etc.)Create technical drawings, specifications, and design documentationPerform engineering calculations and analysis to verify design parametersConduct stability analysis and performance verification of aerospace systemsExamine test data and identify inconsistencies for further investigationGenerate scripts and tools for data analysis and presentation generationDevelop procedure documents and technical reportsReview construction plans, specifications, and contract submittalsPerform material quantity takeoffs and cost analysisWork effectively in cross-functional teams (6-8+ person teams)Interface with senior engineers, program managers, and external stakeholdersPresent technical findings to management and customersWrite and maintain code for engineering applicationsDevelop automation tools for document generation and data processingProgram embedded systems for hardware applications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering disciplineMinors or coursework in Applied Mathematics, Systems Engineering, or related fields preferredActive DoD Top Secret Security Clearance required, or ability to obtain within specified timeframeProficiency in CAD software (CATIA v.5, Inventor, Onshape, or similar)Experience with MATLAB and Python programmingFamiliarity with analysis tools (FEMAP, Ansys Fluent, or equivalent)Knowledge of embedded systems programming (Arduino or similar platforms)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)Experience with collaboration platforms

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with systems engineering documentation and procedure generationFamiliarity with Space Systems Command or military specification style guides Project leadership experience in academic or professional settingsExperience with radar systems, missile systems, or space systems Knowledge of aircraft stability analysis and aeronautical design principle3-D printing and rapid prototyping experience

Salary Range: $63,600.00 - $111,300.00
