Racquet Court Maintenance Supervisor

Pay Range: $20-$23 per hour

Job Summary:
The Racquet Court Maintenance Supervisor is primarily responsible for the repair and maintenance of the racquet courts and racquets facility in accordance with BallenIsles and members expectations. He/she must represent the company with the utmost integrity and professionalism.

Essential Duties:
• Complies with company policies and procedures as established in the Employee Handbook, Racquets Department Operations Manual or as demonstrated as common practice.
• Oversees and performs maintenance to racquets courts and accessory equipment including but not limited to benches and umbrellas in accordance with standard operating procedures, keeping satisfaction amongst management and the members.
• Enforces the codes and regulations applied to a private racquets club.
• Prepares the racquets courts for daily play. Notifies the Racquets Shop front desk of daily court conditions.
• Repairs fences, sprinklers, racquets nets and windscreens as needed. Records all work completed in logbook.
• Maintains and replaces racquets court equipment on an ongoing basis. Conducts inventory and oversees the ordering of supplies and parts.
• Communicates daily with the Director of Racquets on all maintenance issues.
• Assists the Director of Racquets with inventory and budget planning for the Maintenance department.
• Keeps informed of Club programs and special events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Directly supervises employees in the Racquets Maintenance Department.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with BallenIsles policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Willing to work outdoors regardless of weather conditions.
• Must have ability to multitask.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Possess a valid FL driver's license with driving history to meet insurability standards
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Prior similar racquet court maintenance experience is preferred
