Sustaining Engineer : Provides technical and sustaining engineering support of a wafer fabrication area in a semiconductor company or a product manufacturing area of a media or pharmaceutical company. Establishes operating equipment specifications, improves manufacturing techniques and production yields, and introduces new process equipment to improve production efficiencies. Interacts with product design and development personnel to ensure that processes and designs are compatible.
