**What will you do?**
We are seeking a motivated Product Engineer to join our circuit breaker components development team. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on technical work and collaborative project experience, providing an excellent foundation for a career in product engineering.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**1. Product Design & Development:**
+ Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools (NX or ProE Creo)
+ Support the development of new product designs and improvements to existing products
+ Assist in material selection and specification processes
+ Learn and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles
+ Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
**2. Testing & Validation:**
+ Support prototype development and testing activities
+ Assist in creating and executing test plans
+ Document test results and prepare technical reports
+ Help identify and resolve product design issues
+ Participate in failure analysis when required
**3. Documentation & Standards:**
+ Maintain product documentation including drawings, specifications, and BOMs
+ Support the creation of manufacturing instructions
+ Help develop and update design standards
+ Assist in maintaining engineering change notices (ECNs)
+ Learn and apply industry standards and regulatory requirements
**4. Cross-functional Collaboration:**
+ Work with manufacturing teams to ensure producibility of designs
+ Coordinate with quality control for inspection requirements
+ Interface with suppliers for component specifications
+ Support production teams in resolving technical issues
+ Participate in project team meetings and status updates
**5. Continuous Improvement:**
+ Contribute to cost reduction initiatives
+ Assist in process improvement projects
+ Help identify opportunities for design optimization
+ Support value engineering activities
+ Learn and apply lean manufacturing principles
**6. Technical Skills Development:**
+ Build proficiency in CAD software and engineering tools
+ Learn product development methodologies
+ Develop understanding of manufacturing processes
+ Gain experience with project management basics
+ Build knowledge of industry standards and best practices
**What will you need to succeed?**
+ Bachelor in Engineering such as Mechanical, Electrical or related
+ At least 3 years of experience in product design or related area (manufacturing, processes, maintenance)
+ Knowledge of CAD Software (NX, ProE Creo, Solidedge, Solidworks or similar)
+ Familiarity with common manufacturing processes
+ English Advanced
+ MS Office
+ SAP is desirable
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
+ Detail-oriented
+ Communication skills
