Your Mission – Take Responsibility from Day One
In this role, you will work at the intersection of product development, technology, and manufacturing. You can shape the tire from a simulation of the first idea, via the testing of prototypes in our plants to incorporating market feedback during its use in the field. You will collaborate with experienced specialists while also taking ownership of your own tasks early on:
Support and lead Off-the-road tire development and know‑how projects focusing on performance, timing, cost, and product qualityDefine tire specifications for experimental and serial tiresPlan, order, and follow up on tire testing programsIdentify opportunities for tire performance simulation; place and follow up on simulation tasksTake product line responsibility across the full product life cycleSupport the industrialization of OTR tiresPerform structured problem solving within standard processesDocument knowledge in a structured and accessible way (e.g., SharePoint)Prepare invention disclosures and patents for tire designPlan and evaluate benchmarking activities for OTR tiresProvide technical support for productionDeliver technical training to customersCollaborate with engineering and manufacturing on new production equipment for OTR tiresQualificationsPre-Bologna Degree or Integrated Master’s in an Engineering area, preferably MechanicalProject Management skills (mandatory)Self-organization and ability to work with autonomyGood communication and interaction skillsEnglish language skills (written and spoken) Portuguese language skills (plus)Availability for traveling (mandatory).Additional InformationIntegration in a challenging and international work environment, featured by the existence of state-of-the-art technologies;Local employment contract with attractive remuneration package and benefitsContinuous professional training and excellent possibilities of personal and professional development.Legal authorization to work in Europe is required.Ready to drive with Continental?
