The ALM team works closely with the other teams developing AVEVA's product portfolio especially using software components provided by the Platform Group and by extending or integrating other software products out of AVEVA’s product portfolio. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong background in C# programming and test automation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for both web and desktop applications. **Key Responsibilities:** + Develop and maintain robust automated test suites using C# for web and desktop applications. + Design and implement scalable test frameworks using tools such as **Playwright** , **Selenium** , **WinAppDriver** , or other relevant technologies. + Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables. + Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across multiple platforms. + Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps. + Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with development teams to resolve issues. + Maintain test documentation and contribute to test strategy and planning. **Required Skills and Qualifications** + Minimum **4 years of experience** in software testing and automation using **C#** . + Strong proficiency in **Playwright** or similar automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium). + Experience with **desktop application testing** using tools like **WinAppDriver** , **White Framework** , or **TestStack.White** . + Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles. + Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or RestSharp for API testing. + Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. **The team you’ll join** Our team is working together with our partners on the realization of an asset lifecycle management solution into our Unified Engineering product portfolio.
