**The Opportunity**
Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease.
We are recruiting an R&D manager to join our Ventures organization. This is a unique opportunity to join the transcatheter mitral valve replacement program that is developing a novel technology solution for patients suffering from mitral valve disease who could benefit from transfemoral prosthetic mitral valve replacement. The individual who fills this role will play a pivotal part in the design, development, and testing of the next Gen TMVR delivery system from early concept TDP through PDP development. The candidate will be responsible for providing engineering expertise in its creation and leadership of the technical direction of the engineering team.

+ **EXECUTE** hands-on testing and validation activities to confirm performance and reliability of designs.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor'sdegree inmechanicalengineering,or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
+ Minimum10yearsofmedical device developmentexperience.Post Graduate experience of a relevant nature contributes to years of experience.
+ Previousexperience successfully managing direct reports and structuring work for others in work breakdowns andgantsfor program management.
+ High level verbal and written communication skills.
+ ExpertiseusingSolidWorks.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Hands-on experience withTMVRtrans-catheter heart valve delivery systems.
+ Advance degree in a technical field.
+ Extensive knowledge of metals and polymers used in the catheter medical device industry.

The base pay for this position is $128,000.00 – $256,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
