Apply now for the position of Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP). This will place you in the center of some of the most dynamic areas of the Siemens Healthineers’ Diagnostics engineering organization. You will develop a well-rounded understanding of product development in various areas of engineering, while learning new skills and tools to solve complex technical problems.
The Engineering track provides you with the skills needed to become a successful Biomedical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Software Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Systems Engineer, Computer Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Process Engineer, Digitalization Engineering, Data Scientist, Requirements Engineer, Engineering Project Manager or Industrial Design Engineer in support of daily operations in our many global R&D sites.
The ELDP is a two-year program that consists of three eight-month rotational assignments. Each rotation strives to develop leaders of tomorrow by providing an introduction to a vast network of colleagues, hands on leadership experiences across varying departments and roles and opportunities to expand technical and interpersonal skill sets through highly impactful projects. Typical rotation sites include Tarrytown NY, Glasgow DE, Mishawaka IN, and Walpole MA.

Your role:
You will be assigned challenging technical projects within each rotation. These assignments will provide opportunities to lead activities and teams, root cause investigation, product definition, usability engineering, systems architecture, reliability, data science, design and test hardware and software, plan projects, characterize/integrate and specify products and systems, etc.
You will receive mentoring from Siemens Healthineers’ team of innovators, gain access to and network with senior decision-makers and key leaders, and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving global challenges.
You will participate in several learning workshops and training courses; develop a well-rounded understanding of engineering product development from various aspects of the business and develop a broad network within and outside of the Engineering organization.
You will be assigned a Rotational Manager to assure development and progress, with weekly and daily check-ins as appropriate. Routine interaction with the ELDP Program Managers is expected as well as multiple networking events and one-on-ones with Engineering senior management.
You will be search out your own rotational assignments (2nd, 3rd) thru networking within the organization and through a broad network of current Engineers, Associates and Alumni. Associates can be expected to reach across different disciplines of engineering throughout the program.
You will transition into a specialized role within the global engineering organization at the successful conclusion of the program.
Your expertise:
Majors: BS/MS – Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or similar
Graduation Date: Must graduate by the program start date, but no more than one year prior; program start date June 2026
Preferred GPA: 3.4
Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required
