In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. This role serves as a critical finance business advisor and partner for EP R&D leadership. The R&D Finance Manager provides sound business counsel and enables the strategic vision of the business unit by advocating spending as an investment, not an expense. They will effectively balance business unit investment needs/ROI with division and corporate investment needs. This individual will interpret root causes to issue and actively seek solutions to problems through sound financial analysis. They will bring the numbers to life through forecast accuracy and presentation of financial information to non-financial audiences.
