R&D Engineer - Laser
Job Summary Support team Betsy goes live. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: + Participate in the structure design and optimization of Laser source, parameter matching, prototype commissioning, and performance validation. Cooperate with internal and external suppliers to ensure that the technical specifications of the laser meet the requirements of system integration, with stable and reliable performance and mass production capacity. + Support the implementation of industrial laser projects, including galvo control, laser optical path design and overall solutions. + Support the development, design and system integration of industrial laser welding products, and provide product technical support for tooling design, application and service departments. For This Role, You Will Need: + Bachelor’s degree or above in Optical Engineering, Laser Technology, Physics, Electronics Engineering, or related majors. + 3+ years of experience in laser or optical system researching, developing and testing. Prefer full project experiences. + Familiar with laser principles and common laser types (fiber lasers, semiconductor lasers, etc.). + Familiar with the principles and applications of galvo scanning systems. + Capable of building test platforms and conducting laser performance tests (power, beam quality, energy stability, lifetime, etc.). + Familiar with laser safety norms (GB 7247 / IEC 60825) and related testing procedures. + Knowledge of performance characteristics of mainstream domestic and international lasers and optical components. + Good ability to read and write technical documents in English. + Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork ability. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: + Experience in laser design and prototype development projects. + Familiar with laser and optical components of the supply chain and development trends.
