R&D Engineer II

Summary: Seeking an R&D Engineer II with expertise in medical device development and familiarity with Boston Scientific Design Controls and Risk Management practices.

Requirements:

BS Degree with 2-4 years of experience or MS with 0-2 years. Experience in medical device development using contract manufacturers.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Boston Scientific Design Controls & Risk Management practices.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to product design, development, and testing of materials. Plan and schedule activities independently to meet timelines. Design and coordinate standard engineering tests and experiments. Investigate failure modes, perform root cause analyses, develop solutions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards. Troubleshoot commercial products/process issues related to design/material/process. Analyze test results and communicate findings through reports/documentation. Responsible for engineering documentation. May train or provide direction to technicians. Collaborate with process development, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing teams.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
