Summary: Seeking an R&D Engineer to design, maintain, and improve products and processes with a focus on magnet wire enameling fluid dynamics and copper/aluminum metallurgy for electric vehicle applications.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, preferably metallurgy, mechanical or chemical disciplines Three years of product/process engineering experience Knowledge of magnet wire products and applications preferred Expertise in fluid mechanics and metallurgyPreferred Skills:
Experience with production equipment and lab equipment Familiarity with project planning and management, automotive product development practices (APQP)Responsibilities:
Design, model, and test prototypes for product/process development or improvement Conduct research and create design proposals for projects Establish design briefs, concepts, performance criteria; select materials needed for production Produce final design specifications; support concept sample production for demonstration Utilize computational analysis for theoretical design conception, demonstration, verificationPay Details: $90.00 to $95.00 per hour
