R&D Domain Specialist
**Job title:** The R&D Domain Specialist is responsible for executing business objectives by collaborating with stakeholders to translate goals into actionable IT requirements. The role contributes to creating IT solutions by participating in the design and development of efficient systems, assisting in managing small to medium-scale projects and supports IT solutions deployment. The role supports the solutions lifecycle by identifying user needs and conducting impact assessments and aids in planning and implementing changes by managing change requests. The role participates in build, release, and configuration management, works under limited supervision, resolving moderate complexity requests creatively and demonstrating good judgment. **Your role:** * Supports business objectives for IT by collaborating with stakeholders to understand their goals and assisting in translating them into actionable IT requirements that contribute to organizational success. * Contributes to the creation of IT solutions by participating in the design and development of efficient and scalable systems that meet defined business objectives and improve operational effectiveness. * Assists in IT domain disciplines, utilizing developing expertise to help manage small to medium-scale projects and support the deployment of effective R&D IT solutions. * Supports the solutions lifecycle by assisting in identifying user needs, deploying solutions, and conducting impact assessments for small to medium-size projects. * Aids in the planning and implementation of changes by coordinating with relevant teams, managing change requests, and ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption to existing systems and processes. * Assists in planning and managing releases by helping develop detailed release plans, coordinating with development and operations teams, and overseeing the deployment of new software versions. * Supports IT infrastructure resources by assisting in the allocation and utilization of hardware, software, and network resources to ensure efficient and effective support for IT operations. * Helps coordinate IT infrastructure operations by monitoring performance, implementing best practices, and ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure components. * Participates in the build, release, and configuration management of product software by following best practices and supporting the smooth delivery of software products. * Assists in validating IT solutions for regulatory purposes by conducting testing and documentation to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, maintaining high standards of compliance and quality. * Works under limited supervision, resolves a wide range of moderate complexity requests in creative ways, demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. **You're the right fit if:** Minimum 2 years of experience with Bachelor's in areas such as IT Architecture and Roadmaps, DevOps Practices, IT Platforms Performance Optimization or equivalent OR no prior experience required with Master's Degree. **About Philips** We are a health technology company.
