Job DescriptionDevelops and compares alternative design solutions with defined evaluation criteriaPrepares technical specifications in collaboration with responsible engineersCoordinates 3D modeling and drafting tasks with design draftersPerforms tolerance and basic engineering calculations using standard toolsManages part and BOM creation, prepares ECR and MOS, and reviews ISIRsEnsures compliance with internal and external design standards and guidelinesParticipates in technical risk management (e.g., S/D-FMEA) and aligns with focus matrix topicsContributes to technical discussions with preventive and corrective design actionsPrepares design documentation including key calculations and definition of special characteristicsEngages in technical discussions with suppliers, considering cost and quality targets

QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Strong communication skills and an independent, proactive personality.Proven experience in the design and development of parts and assemblies for series production of consumer products.Solid knowledge of modern manufacturing methods (plastics, metals, seals).Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, FTA, DRBFM, and 8D.Creative, analytical, and result-oriented team player.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Proficient in English (written and spoken).Experience with tools and systems such as MS Office, SAP, Teamcenter, and UG NX.
