The end goal is to propose to our consumers best products and technologies to maximize and optimize their experience. **What you will bring** A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: + Easiness to handle complexity and problem-solving mindset + Key team player, communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders (verbally and writing, including technical writing) + Prioritizing and managing activities in Digital + Identifying problems proactively and creating and implementing solutions independently + Applying fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyze data to reach clear conclusions + Communicating effectively + Putting the consumer at the heart of development activities **How you will contribute:** With the support and guidance of a manager and together with a group of data scientists, you will work in close collaboration with our product developer community (Latin America region but also globally) as well as with our supporting functions in order to help them to: + Formulate their problems & challenges in a quantitative and rational manner + Design the best data-driven approach to solve those problems, identify optimal recipes as well as technologies and drive Growth and Innovation + Input (with design of User Interfaces), store (create or use appropriate data management systems) and treat the data (recipe, process, analytical, sensory) with appropriate advanced modelling techniques + Communicate the results to key stakeholders in an impactful way to influence decision-making + Educate and upskill people to adopt more efficient digital ways of working + Share technical knowledge with your peers to further advance on our state of the art in Digital **More about this role** **What you need to know about this position:** + Help R&D teams to formulate their problems to be solved, to smartly design experiments, analyze and create valuable actionable insights considering data of different nature (sensory, recipe, process, etc…), applying statistics and developing fit-for-purpose models to be used by our product developers to optimize our technologies and grow our business. + Automate work processes to accelerate product development and decision-making. + Take ownership of new streams of data that we collect along with the stakeholders and bring healthy data practices for success of various work tracks. Develop strategies and methods to bring efficiency in data collection and governance. **Requirements** **Must have:** + Bachelor’s or a master’s degree in a quantitative discipline with prior experience in a data science role in a professional setting (3+ years) + Strong quantitative skillset with experience in statistics, machine learning, linear algebra. + A natural inclination toward applying analytical thinking to solve complex problems. + Knowledge/experience with programming languages including Python (preferred), R, SQL, etc., + Prior experience with data visualization tools and libraries such as Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn etc., + Knowledge of machine learning techniques including regressions, tree-based models, clustering, neuralnetworks, PCAs etc., with prior experience in utilizing them + Knowledge and experience in advanced statistics. + Good communication skills to promote cross-team collaboration. + Advanced English Level Essential **Good to have:** + Experience using cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) + Experience with computer vision, signal processing methods, NLP, deep learning method + Multilingual coding knowledge/experience: Java, JavaScript, C, C++, etc. + Experience with any web development libraries such as Flask, Dash, Streamlit, React etc + Interest for Food Technology. **Work schedule:** full time No Relocation support available **Business Unit Summary** **Mondelez México has been in the country since 1927 and currently employs 6,000 wonderful people.
