Job Description

Join a pioneering team dedicated to integrating advanced robotics into workplace settings. We are seeking a Senior/Staff Manufacturing Test Engineer with expertise in electronics, embedded systems, and production test strategy. This role involves leading the development of scalable test infrastructure to ensure the performance, quality, and reliability of robotic systems. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, foster best practices, and collaborate with diverse teams to influence the design and manufacturability of cutting-edge robotic systems.

ResponsibilitiesLead the architecture, development, and continuous improvement of advanced test systems for electrical and control subsystems across multiple product lines.Define and drive the implementation of automated test solutions for embedded hardware to maximize coverage, traceability, and throughput.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure design-for-test (DFT) and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles are applied early in product and internal test development.Own the full lifecycle of test platforms, including specification, development, deployment, and long-term support.Analyze test data to identify trends and drive improvements.Essential SkillsProficiency in C++ and Python.Strong experience in electrical design, particularly PCB design.Robust testing experience in embedded systems and electronics.Familiarity with SQL and robotics.Understanding of embedded systems communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, EtherCAT.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with IDEs such as VSCode and Arduino IDE.Solid data analysis skills, especially in statistical analysis of logged data about defects and performance.Ability to interpret electrical schematics and use ECAD tools, preferably Altium.Experience designing and deploying test fixtures, harnesses, and test stations.Familiarity with real-time operating systems like Linux and FreeRTOS, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.Work Environment

This position involves a hybrid work environment, with a minimum of three days onsite preferred. Work is evenly split between the lab/manufacturing floor and an office setting. The role provides the opportunity to work on the V4 robot and engage with the development of the next generation V5 robot.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
