Job Title: Quotation Coordinator
Job Description

The Quotation Coordinator facilitates and coordinates all assigned quoting activities while driving continuous improvement of standard quoting processes and systems. This role delivers accurate, comprehensive product quotations through financial analysis, cost evaluation, and industry knowledge, partnering closely with engineering, materials, finance, and IT to ensure the lowest possible total cost and timely quote delivery.

ResponsibilitiesFacilitate and coordinate assigned quote activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product quotations.Deliver and present accurate, comprehensive product quotes based on financial analysis, component and industry experience, and sound reasoning.Apply logic and perform sanity checks on all material and other costs to validate quote accuracy.Collaborate with the quote team and engineering to drive the lowest possible material and other costs before routing quotes for approvals.Coordinate quote kickoffs and review RFQ templates prior to scheduling and leading appropriate meetings.Work with finance and IT to develop and refine methods, pricing worksheets, and quote-related software that enhance the quote process.Coordinate with engineering and materials quoting teams to ensure quotes are complete, accurate, and delivered on time.Challenge engineering and materials quoting teams to continually identify and propose lowest total cost solutions.Analyze data and compare quotes to customer target pricing, previous quotes, and other benchmarks to assess cost effectiveness.Establish pricing models for each customer based on agreed parameters, seeking opportunities to increase margins and revenue.Set up and maintain cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.Manage multiple quotes simultaneously while consistently meeting expected timelines.Review and analyze material costs, routings, Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE), custom tooling, and all other cost elements within quotes.Initiate, attend, and lead meetings as needed to support quoting activities and cross-functional collaboration.Provide administrative and project coordination support related to quoting and cost analysis in a manufacturing environment.Maintain professionalism, poise, tact, and diplomacy when handling sensitive and confidential information and materials.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.One to two years of experience in an office environment.Experience managing manufacturing quotes and timelines.Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, costs, and techniques for maximizing cost reductions.Strong cost analysis skills with the ability to evaluate material, labor, and overhead components.Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and other database programs.Strong knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment.Sound written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write and understand routine reports and follow instructions.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations with poise, tact, and diplomacy.Proficiency in the use and operation of standard office equipment.Familiarity with commonly used email, internet, word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications.Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce logical, sensible answers.Ability to synthesize information and identify relationships among seemingly unrelated events to form conclusions.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience providing administrative support, project coordination, and project management in a manufacturing environment.Customer service experience related to quoting or project coordination.Experience participating in or leading cross-functional meetings to support quoting activities.Demonstrated organizational skills with a track record of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial and cost data.A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a desire to improve processes and tools.Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite role with standard hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The work environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, with a strong, positive team culture that encourages open communication and supportive relationships. The facility offers access to onsite amenities such as a gym, discounted membership with a partner fitness provider, basketball and pickleball courts, table games, billiards, and a music area with scheduled jam sessions, as well as opportunities to participate in company-facilitated tournaments. Work is primarily performed in a professional office setting using standard office equipment, computers, and business software.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $34.00/hr.
