This is a full-time role at our New Hyde Park, NY office.

Salary Range: $20 - $25/hour

Switchgear Quotations Specialist and Project Coordinator Responsibilities

Quote and manage small switchgear and control panel projects from start to finishPrepare accurate and detailed project quotations and securing pricing for bidsManage customer accounts ensuring accuracyUpload service tickets and job cards to Excel based job tracking sheet Review job and parts order status Enter Bill of Materials for jobs File service tickets, invoices, and packing slips Establish and maintain relationships with customers and vendors providing best in class customer serviceCommunicate with clients professionally and respond to all inquiries promptlyResolve any issues or delaysOversee several aspects of a project at the same timeFollow-up with contractors and internal teamsManage freight damage claims

 

Switchgear Quotations Specialist and Project Coordinator Qualifications

Sales oriented, self-starter who is willing and eager to gain product and service knowledgeAptitude for learningStrong customer service skillsAbility to negotiate, solve problems, and close with customersStrong verbal and written communication skills, including phone and emailAbility to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, diverse, and growth-oriented environmentAbility to work under tight deadlinesStrong mathematical and analytical skillsDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal formatsProven proficiency in general personal computer applications, as well as in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word and ExcelAbility to work well both in a team environment and independentlyValid driver’s license to operate company vehicles as needed

 

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for prolonged periods of timeAbility to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, computer mouse, adding machine, and telephone for prolonged periods of timeYou will be in a production/manufacturing/warehouse environment daily
