Our client, a leading pharmaceutical and life sciences solutions provider, is seeking a Quarantine Specialist to join their team. As a Quarantine Specialist, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting manufacturing and packaging operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quarantine Specialist

Location: Manassas, VA  (On-site)

Pay Range: $24/hour

 

What’s the Job?

Manage the quarantine process for raw materials and finished goods. Review incoming materials Certificates of Analysis (COAs), labels, and packaging. Maintain accurate quarantine logs and related documentation. Sample raw materials for in-house and third-party lab testing; create finished product COAs. Hold and determine disposition for non-compliant products, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

What’s Needed?

BS in Food Science or related major OR High School diploma with significant manufacturing experience and HACCP, PCQI, GFSI, cGMP training. Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and follow SOPs and test methods. Knowledge of GMP and Quality systems (Spanish language skills a plus).
